Spring is on the Lamb! Er, Lam.

Harper and Max were out at grandma and grandpa's farm last week. Right now there there are several dozen new lambs jumping around and playing in the April sun. Lots of fun to see them.

It was one of those bone-chilling March days, but Zach and Sara headed out with us for a short engagement session last week. As so often happens, the less-than-ideal conditions helped us create some really memorable pictures. The train was all by chance, but that bit of serendipity added a nice touch to the images.

Gabe and Corissa just adopted a baby boy at the end of last year. He is a very happy little guy. And we're happy that their little family is growing!

Those Nebraska Sunsets

One of the great things about winter is that life slows down, if only a little bit. And I finally have the chance to roam the countryside and take pictures for myself. 2013 is already shaping up to be a crazy busy year so I'm enjoying a few sunsets by myself while I can!

Well, here it is -- the last shoot of 2012. Bob and Charlotte actually live in Wyoming, but their wedding will be here in Lincoln in late 2013. While they were visiting for the holidays we decided to challenge the cold weather. These two did just fine. I, however, struggled to keep my hands warm while gripping my icy Canon. After my fingers thawed I decided that our suffering was worth it.
